Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, the medium-frequency induction heating furnace is a highly efficient and clean piece of equipment for metal thermal processing. It is widely used in key process stages-such as metal melting, forging heating, heat treatment (quenching, annealing, tempering), welding, and through-heating for forming-and has become integral to numerous industrial sectors, including automotive manufacturing and machinery production.
1. Welding: Welding of cutting tools (drills, woodworking tools, lathe tools, reamers, milling cutters, saw blade teeth), brazing of drill bits, welding of eyeglass frames, steel and copper pipes, mining cutter picks, and dissimilar metals; welding of components for compressors, pressure gauges, and relays; composite welding of dissimilar materials (e.g., stainless steel pot bottoms); welding of copper transformer windings; and welding of gas tank valves and stainless steel tableware/kitchenware.
2. Heat Treatment: Quenching and annealing of mechanical metal parts-such as gears, machine tool guideways, hardware tools, pneumatic and electric tools, hydraulic components, ductile iron parts, and automotive/motorcycle components (surface, bore, localized, or full-body treatment); and deep drawing of stainless steel cookware.
3. Metal Melting: Used for melting and temperature raising of carbon steel, alloy steel, special steel, and non-ferrous metals (such as copper and aluminum); a critical piece of equipment in the foundry industry.
4. Through-heating for Forming: Through-heating (full or localized) for standard parts, fasteners, large workpieces, small hardware, and straight-shank twist drills; hot upsetting and rolling of twist drills; heating round steel bars (up to 100mm in diameter); heating metal materials for annealing to facilitate drawing, shaping, embossing, pipe bending, and heading; heating steel/iron wire for nail making; and annealing, drawing, expanding, and thermal expansion processes for stainless steel products.
5. Other heating applications: heating for lamination of aluminum-plastic and steel-plastic pipes, cables, and wires; metal preheating for plastic coating; semiconductor single-crystal growth; shrink fitting; heat sealing of bottle mouths and toothpaste tubes; powder coating; embedding metal into plastic; and aluminum foil sealing for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
