The supporting facilities for induction heating power supply cabinets can be divided into core function support, cooling system support, furnace/load support, and electrical control support, based on the previously mentioned equipment operation requirements:
Cooling System Support: Small-power equipment can use an air-cooled system, consisting of a fan and heat sinks, with a simple structure and convenient maintenance; high-power equipment above 30KW must use a water-cooled system, including a cooling tower/industrial chiller, water pump, plate heat exchanger, filter device, dedicated piping, etc., requiring deionized water as the cooling medium to ensure stable heat dissipation of power devices such as IGBTs.
Furnace/Load Support: Flexible configuration is possible according to production needs: one power supply cabinet can be equipped with a single furnace, or two furnaces can be used to achieve "one melting, one holding" or dual-furnace alternating operation. A high-performance furnace switch can also be selected to achieve rapid switching between two furnaces, ensuring uninterrupted continuous production.
IV. Electrical Control System Includes a PLC/digital signal processor control system, overvoltage, overcurrent, and water shortage protection devices, and a process parameter storage and monitoring module. It can also be expanded with RS232/RS485 communication interfaces to connect to automated production lines, achieving automated and precise control of the entire process from feeding to heating to discharging.
