The steel pipe online quenching and tempering production line is a complete set of continuous heat treatment equipment that completes quenching and tempering processes right after steel pipe rolling. Different from batch-based offline heat treatment modes, the entire processing procedure is carried out continuously during pipe conveying without intermittent operation.
After entering the production line, steel pipes are rapidly heated to the quenching temperature by an induction heating system. The uniform and constant conveying speed ensures consistent temperature distribution on the entire pipe body. Once the preset temperature is reached, the high-pressure cooling system performs synchronous spraying cooling on the inner and outer walls of the steel pipe to complete rapid quenching and form a high-strength metal structure.
Subsequently, the quenched steel pipes are transported to the tempering induction heating unit for secondary heating and temperature holding. This process eliminates internal stress generated during quenching and balances the strength and toughness of steel materials.
The entire production process is controlled by an automatic system, which dynamically adjusts pipe running speed, heating power, cooling flow and temperature parameters according to different pipe specifications. Continuous processing effectively stabilizes the metallographic structure and mechanical properties of finished pipes while reducing product deformation. As an efficient and low-cost heat treatment solution, this online production line fully meets the manufacturing standards of petroleum casing pipes and structural steel pipes.
