Continuous Casting Steel Billet Heating Electric Furnace, also known as CCM billet induction reheating furnace, is a modular electric induction heating system specially designed for online reheating of continuous casting steel billets after caster. It adopts IGBT medium frequency induction heating principle to realize synchronous inside-and-outside penetrating heating of square billets, round billets and rectangular billets, perfectly matching continuous rolling, forging, piercing and hot extrusion production lines. Different from traditional gas-fired walking-beam furnaces, this electric billet heater directly heats the billet body by electromagnetic induction. It supports both hot billet compensation heating straight from continuous caster and cold billet full reheating. With multi-section independent power zones and closed-loop infrared temperature monitoring, it eliminates the defect of surface overheating while the core is underheated, delivers stable target forging/rolling temperature and uniform metallurgical structure.
