Equipment Overview
Stainless Steel Pipe Induction Heating Equipment adopts IGBT variable-frequency induction heating technology. It is specially designed for various thermal processing procedures of stainless steel pipes. The equipment can be used independently or assembled into a fully automatic continuous heat treatment production line.
It is applicable to 304, 316L, 201, 321, 2205 duplex stainless steel, nickel-based alloy pipes and other mainstream pipe materials.
The equipment covers a pipe diameter range of Φ10mm to Φ2030mm and a wall thickness range of 0.5mm to 20mm, meeting the full-specification processing requirements from precision thin-walled pipes to industrial large-diameter thick-walled pipes.


Working Principle
1. The three-phase 380V industrial frequency alternating current enters the main unit, undergoes rectification and filtering, and is converted into medium-frequency or high-frequency alternating current through the IGBT inverter module.
2. The alternating current is transmitted to the customized oxygen-free copper induction coil, forming a high-strength alternating magnetic field around the coil.
3. When the stainless steel pipe passes through the magnetic field area, eddy currents are induced inside the pipe wall. Heat is generated relying on the inherent resistance of the metal, realizing a non-contact internal heating mode.
4. Adjusting the output frequency and power of the power supply can control the skin heating depth, achieving two heating modes: overall uniform heating and local fixed-point heating.
5. Equipped with an infrared temperature measurement component to form a closed-loop temperature control system, which can dynamically correct the output power and stably maintain the set heating temperature.

IGBT Variable-Frequency Power Supply Main Unit
Adopts a full-digital DSP control mainboard with stepless adjustable power from 1% to 100%.
It adapts to a voltage range of 320V to 420V and can maintain stable power output under voltage fluctuation conditions.
Built-in fault self-diagnosis module with multiple self-locking protection functions including over-current, over-voltage, water shortage, over-temperature and phase loss protection.
It can store more than 20 sets of process parameter formulas, enabling one-click parameter calling when switching different pipe specifications.
Induction Heating Coil
Made of oxygen-free copper with internal circulating cooling water, featuring high temperature resistance and low conductive loss.
Customized in ring, rectangular and segmented types according to customers' pipe sizes and heating processes.
The coil surface is wrapped with a high-temperature resistant insulating layer with high insulation grade, eliminating the risk of electric leakage and short circuit.
Temperature Control System
Equipped with a non-contact infrared thermometer with a temperature measurement accuracy of ±10℃ and a measurement range from room temperature to 1200℃.
The PLC system links with the production line conveying speed, automatically matching the power output synchronously with speed changes to avoid large temperature fluctuations.
It automatically records temperature curves, operating duration and production data throughout the process, and the data can be exported and archived for quality inspection traceability.
Circulating Cooling System
Adopts a closed water circulation structure with independent water cooling circuits for the main unit, coil and transformer respectively.
The required cooling water pressure is 0.3MPa to 0.5MPa, equipped with water pressure and water flow monitoring and alarm devices.
Two cooling configurations including air cooling and closed chiller are optional, adapting to workshop environments with low temperature in northern areas and high temperature in southern areas.

1. Power grades: Optional 30kW, 60kW, 80kW, 120kW, 160kW, 300kW, 600kW and 1200kW. Dual power supply parallel output is available for super-large diameter pipes.
2. Oscillation frequency: Automatically matched from 20kHz to 400kHz. High frequency is applied for thin-walled small pipes, and medium frequency for thick-walled large pipes.
3. Energy conversion efficiency: The overall thermal efficiency is higher than 98%, reducing energy consumption by 30%-70% compared with gas furnaces and resistance furnaces.
4. Startup response: It can reach full power startup within 0.2 seconds with a 100% startup success rate, supporting frequent start-stop intermittent production.
5. Continuous operation: 100% duty cycle, capable of 24-hour uninterrupted mass production without power reduction.
6. Production line running speed: 0.15m/min to 70m/min, adjustable according to pipe diameter, wall thickness and processing technology.
