Product Overview

Induction Heating and Quenching Production Line, also known as continuous induction quenching & tempering line, is a complete turnkey heat treatment system integrating induction heating, spray quenching, tempering, automatic conveying, temperature monitoring and intelligent control. It adopts IGBT medium-frequency induction power supply to replace traditional gas furnace and resistance furnace heating, achieving continuous online heat treatment for steel bars, round rods, square billets, steel pipes and long shaft workpieces.

This automatic induction heat treatment line realizes one-flow operation from automatic loading, rapid induction heating, precise quenching, constant-temperature tempering to finished product unloading. With closed-loop PLC control and infrared pyrometer real-time temperature detection, it stabilizes workpiece hardness, metallographic structure and mechanical performance, while greatly reducing workpiece deformation and surface oxidation scale. It is widely adopted by metal manufacturing enterprises to upgrade heat treatment workshop and boost production capacity.

Working Principle

Based on electromagnetic induction skin effect, the IGBT power supply generates alternating magnetic field. Eddy current forms inside steel workpiece and converts into heat energy to rapidly heat the workpiece to quenching temperature. After reaching target temperature, the workpiece passes through the spray quenching section for fast cooling. Then the workpiece enters induction tempering section to relieve internal stress and obtain required tensile strength, hardness and toughness. Variable-speed roller feeding system keeps stable transmission speed to guarantee consistent heat treatment effect on every workpiece
