Complete Power Supply Configuration

The full heat treatment system is equipped with four sets of independent IGBT intermediate-frequency power supplies for zoned temperature control with separate start-stop and power adjustment functions to meet different heating demands of pipe body and upset ends.

  1. Power for overall casing quenching: 500KW/1000HZ
  2. Dedicated supplementary heating power for upset end quenching: 120KW/1000HZ
  3. Power for overall casing tempering: 200KW/500HZ
  4. Dedicated supplementary heating power for upset end tempering: 80KW/500HZ

Applicable Machining Specifications

Standard applicable outer diameters cover 60.3mm, 73.02mm, 88.9mm, 114mm~139.7mm, 188.28mm~219.08mm with matching regular wall thickness. Non-standard pipe diameter customization is supported to cover mainstream casing steel grades such as J55, N80, L80 and P110.

Conveying Roller Table Structure

  1. An included angle is reserved between roller table axis and workpiece axis. Oil casings rotate automatically while moving forward at constant speed to achieve uniform circumferential heating and cooling and avoid unilateral temperature deviation.
  2. Transition rollers between heating furnaces adopt 304 non-magnetic stainless steel with built-in water cooling structure to resist deformation and magnetism under long-term high-temperature working conditions.

Feeding Drive System

  1. Each conveying roller is driven by an independent motor plus reducer and equipped with a separate frequency converter.
  2. Segmented variable-speed operation is available. Sectional speed difference can be set based on casing wall thickness and steel grade to match the rhythm of heating and cooling processes.

Dedicated Supplementary Heating System for Upset Ends

  1. A separate online supplementary heating induction furnace is configured targeting larger outer diameter and wall thickness of casing upset ends compared with main pipe bodies.
  2. Built-in online temperature detection modules identify upset end positions and realize precise supplementary heating. Temperature difference between upset ends and pipe bodies is controlled within ±10℃ to guarantee uniform heat treatment performance of full-length pipes.

Intelligent Formula Management System

The Oil Casing Quenching and Tempering Heat Treatment Equipment is embedded with a process formula database. After operators input three basic parameters including production steel grade, pipe outer diameter and wall thickness, the system automatically calls matched process data such as heating power, feeding speed and cooling water pressure. Manual parameter entry and filing are eliminated to shorten trial-run time during model changeover.

Full-automatic Closed-loop Control System

  1. Multi-channel closed-loop control for temperature and voltage is developed to cope with unstable power grid in partial overseas regions.
  2. The control system automatically optimizes power output and heating parameters when grid voltage fluctuates within ±20%, ensuring consistent heat treatment processes and controllable performance deviation of batch products.

A: Customization is available. We modify induction coil dimensions, roller spacing and power parameters according to customers' unique pipe diameter, wall thickness and output demands to reconstruct the whole production line.

Q2: Is separate quenching or tempering operation supported?

A: Four power units work independently. Operators can activate quenching unit or tempering unit alone to meet single-process processing of semi-finished pipes.
