Continuous Casting Billet Secondary Reheating Equipment is applied for supplementary heating of billets directly off continuous casting lines, fixing insufficient pre-rolling temperature and uneven temperature difference across billets. Power Supply Configuration
1.The unit is equipped with dual-rectifier 12-pulse or 24-pulse power supply, rated power ranging from 1000KW to 12000KW and operating frequency set between 500Hz and 1200Hz.

Feeding and Transmission System

Guide and Limiting System
1.Guide wheels are made of 304 non-magnetic stainless steel to avoid magnetization and extra heat loss caused by alternating magnetic field.
2.Axial elastic allowance is reserved on guide wheels to accommodate permissible bending deformation of billets under national standards and stabilize billet moving track.

Closed-loop Temperature Automatic Control System
1.System composition: Infrared temperature detectors cooperate with PLC to form a full closed-loop temperature control circuit.
2.Control logic: The system collects real-time data of incoming billet temperature and feeding speed, then dynamically adjusts output power of the power supply automatically.
3.Control target: Stabilize billet outlet temperature at preset value and eliminate temperature fluctuation from inconsistent head-tail temperature and varying incoming blank temperature.
